Keen to film happy but busy customers talking about Mastek
Needed to travel to customer sites to film stories, but lacked time and resources

The Challenge
When you’ve done great work with a client, you want to capture their happy, smiling faces on video so your sales team can produce more clients for you to delight. But in the digital age, getting out to film customers is tricky for busy marketing teams. Mastek was in exactly this position. They needed a trusted pair of hands to create a video case study with household brand, Specsavers.
The Solution
I was asked to lead the production of the video. I started by talking to Mastek to uncover the story that we needed to tell, and then spoke to all the people we planned to interview to get their side of the story and prepare them for filming, as well as sorting the logistics for the shoot itself.
On the day, I headed down to Specsavers’ office with my trusted freelance cameraman and sound engineer, and got the footage shot. That included all the B-roll we’d identified we’d need earlier, and numerous interviews with employees involved with Mastek.
With everything captured in one day, it was short work to edit everything together into a video that Mastek still proudly displays on its YouTube page.
