Heavy emphasis placed on producing case study content that reflected the personality of the customer
All aspects of video production handled, including scripting and storyboarding (and some acting!)
The Challenge
Case studies are all about your customers – and video case studies give you a unique opportunity to show them off. Lightspeed POS knew this when they set out to capture video case studies of their customers – but with no in-house team, they needed external help creating the content.
The Solution
I was asked to lead the production of Lightspeed’s video case study about Rub Smokehouse in Birmingham. I coordinated logistics for the day of the shoot, as well as all pre-production work:
Interviewing the owners of Rub Smokehouse ahead of the shoot to prepare them and plan the story.
Identify what B-Roll footage we wanted for the shoot.
Storyboarding the video
On the day, I directed the shoot, conducted interviews with the owners, and made sure we had all the B-roll we needed. I even got to star in the video briefly!
Throughout, the focus was on celebrating what made Rub Smokehouse unique, while still capturing the key information Lightspeed POS needed to make the case study successful.
