Case studies are so valuable that you need a trusted pair of hands to deliver them. Someone that gets your proposition, and who can capture your customers’ testimony in just the right way.
That’s what I do.
I deliver beautifully told and easy-to-read case studies, both in written and video form, and I pride myself on service that feels like you’re working alongside a colleague – or a mate.
Written case studies can work in a few ways.
If nobody has spoken to the customer yet, then our first stop is always a briefing call, with you and the account manager for the customer in question. We’ll go over the key elements of the story, and any important bits to talk about (or not to talk about!)
After that, I interview the customer to get their side of the story. You can be there if you like, or you can leave me to get on with it.
Once everyone has been interviewed, I write the case study and any social posts you want with it. We go back and forth once or twice with revisions or amends, and then it’s done! I can even upload the finished case study to your website too, if that would help.
On the other hand, if we can’t talk to the customer – or you already did that – you can supply me with all the materials and just leave me to get on with the case study. Simple!
Video case studies are so much fun to make. Just like with a written one, we’ll have calls with the account manager and the customer to capture the story, and prepare the customer for filming. Once that’s done, me and a camera operator will visit the customer to film their testimony and capture any additional footage we want for the story.
Once filming is done, we’ll put together a rough edit that you and the customer can approve; once that’s done, we add on all the fancy video bits and finalise the project.
My case study writing service costs around £250-£300 for a case study. We’ll agree an exact price when we begin a project – after all, everyone’s templates and needs are slightly different.
Video case studies are more complex to create, as they involve filming and editing time. It’s almost impossible to give an accurate quote without knowing more about the project – get in touch to discuss yours so I can give you a quote.
I can find imagery for your case study if you need me to. If you subscribe to an image library, I can suggest images on there – or I can use free image libraries like Pixabay.
You should also ask you customer if they have a high-resolution copy of their logo, headshots of anyone you’ve quoted, and any imagery you can use.
If you’d like me to, I can definitely upload a finished case study to your website once you’ve approved it. I’m an experienced WordPress and Umbraco user – and I can quickly get the hang of any other CMS tools you use.
Especially in the world of B2B case studies, this is a very tricky question to answer. I always aim to deliver you a first draft of your written case study within a week of finishing all the prep. After that, it’s up to you and your customer how long the process takes!
For video case studies, I aim to deliver a first draft within ten days of filming.
This is how I get the job done:
Here’s the process for creating a video case study:
Yes, if you want them. Since I’m already working on the case study itself, it’s easy to write the posts, too.
